I just wanted to say that I appreciate your work on these changes
to get them installed. They seem to be working fine. It'll be
interesting to see what effect they have on the size of the next
checkpoint. We'll probably also have to watch how well it
behaves when there are a number of busy discussions going all at
once.

My guess is that with this in, we can change the policy on how
long a discussion is idle before it's destroyed. This will be
good.
